Bodybuilder Cydney Gillon, from the United States, set a record and won the Figure category for the 8th consecutive time at Mr Olympia on Friday night (11), in Las Vegas, and announced her retirement while on stage.

According to information from ge, the American was the woman with the most Mr. titles. Olympia still in operation. Only three other bodybuilders, both men and women, had achieved the record of eight consecutive victories: Iris Kyle, the biggest champion, with ten titles (2004, 2006 to 2014) in the Mr. Olympia; and Lee Haney (1984 to 1991) and Ronnie Coleman (1998 to 2005), both in Mr. Olympia (Open).
However, when interviewed after being declared the winner, the American announced that it was her last time at the event. She amended a sequence of eight achievements, which began in 2017.

North American Sarah Villegas surpassed Natalia Abraham Coelho, who is a citizen of Brazil and the United States, and won her fourth title, equaling the mark of Brazilian Juliana Malacarne.
