During the day of Sunday October 13he NBA Hall of Fame will add 13 new membersin a list headed by Vince Cartera player who was chosen as an All-Star eight times during an extensive 22-year career in the league, leaving his mark as one of the most spectacular and explosive athletes ever seen in the competition.
Along with Carter there are three other players chosen by the North American Committee: Chauncey Billupschampion and Finals MVP with the Pistons in 2004; Michael Cooperwinner of five titles and considered one of the best defenders in history; and Walter Davissix-time All-Star and Rookie of the Year in 1978.
They are added Bo Ryanlegendary coach at the University of Wisconsin and Charles Smithhistoric basketball coach high school.
On the side of the Women’s Committee, Seimone Augustuseight-time All-Star in the WNBA and four-time champion; Dick Barnett and the coach Harley Redin They join from the Veterans Committee; the australian Michele Timms enters through the International Committee; while Jerry West -already belonged to the Hall as a player-, Doug Collins y Herb Simon They enter through the Taxpayers Committee.
