In the West Africans’ 4-1 win in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ethiopia, Guirassy shone in the first half with a hat trick (18th, penalty/38th/45th+2) to make it 3-0. Seydouba Cisse increased the score to 4-0 after the break (48′), Canaan Markneh (53′) was only able to shorten the score.
For Guirassy, who was substituted in the 65th minute, it was goals four, five and six in his 19th international match. The 28-year-old striker has scored six goals in six games for BVB so far this season.
