He UNAN Basketball Team of León is a professional basketball club from Nicaragua, representing the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN-León). Founded in the year 2020the team has competed in the Superior Basketball League since its creation, as well as in the Carlos Ulloa Inmemoria National Tournament.
UNAN de León, with a rich tradition in sports development, established its basketball team to foster local talent and offer a competitive platform for young athletes. Since its founding, the team has worked to become a benchmark in Nicaraguan basketball, attracting talented players and creating an environment conducive to the development of the sport in the region.[[1]
