Erick Hernández with a new record of ball control

This is the most touches on the ball in an hour that Mexican Abraham Muñoz had.

The multiple world and Guinness record holder for ball control, Erick Hernández, broke a new record in his specialty this Saturday.

This time he added the reign in the modality of most touches in an hour with any part of the body by reaching a record of 13,985 achieved at the Copacabana hotel in this capital.

The previous record was held by the Mexican Abraham Muñoz, who had hit the ball 11,901 times.

The Dominator had already passed that test with more than 12 thousand touches, but on that occasion the Guinness Book of Records did not approve it because it considered the evidence presented insufficient.

On this occasion, a group of international referees acted as observers and an extensive graphic record was available to begin the validation process.

“This test is very intense and required exhaustive preparation, but I have prepared for a long time and I was ready to do it,” said Hernández.

He also wanted to thank the work group that provided support, as well as the group of referees and the Cuban Football Association.

He recently broke the mark of 3:07:28 hours controlling the ball from a sitting position with one and a half kilograms of weight on his legs.

The former soccer player has an enviable record of setting records in that discipline, to the point that this was number 80 in his extensive career.
