Lieshout – Badminton Club Lieshout has again made a nice amount of money from the 2024 edition of the <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/11/badminton-club-lieshout-thanks-rabobank-all-voters/" title="Badminton Club Lieshout thanks Rabobank & all voters”>Rabo Club Support Campaign. With that amount, Badminton Club Lieshout can make sports in general and badminton in particular more accessible to everyone. The Rabobank Walk-in Days that the association organizes for this support have therefore once again been completely barrier-free.

All sponsorship amounts have now been announced and distributed to the associations that participated in the Rabo Club Support campaign this year. After all, Rabobank would like to support all associations and has also made an amount available for this this year. In order to generate a fair distribution, the bank has asked its members (nationally) to which associations this sponsorship money should be paid. The members have been able to cast their votes on this in the past period.

Nice amount
Ultimately, the results show that Badminton Club Lieshout is entitled to €309.52. That is slightly less than the past year (€346.37) and the year before (€444.28). Yet the badminton players are pleasantly surprised with this extra support. Treasurer Ingrid Bergé was delighted when she received the check from Frank van Elderen (who represented Rabobank). In addition to all voters, Badminton Club Lieshout also thanks Rabobank Helmond Peel Noord for supporting club life: Frank van Elderen received this thank you with heartfelt applause.

Sponsoring makes it barrier-free
Naturally, Badminton Club Lieshout will spend the money well: the Rabobank Open Days are organized with this money at the start of the season. The aim of Badminton Club Lieshout is to make sports in general and badminton in particular accessible to everyone. Thanks to this support, the Rabobank Walk-in Days can be organized completely barrier-free and sufficient resources such as rackets and shuttles can be made available. The hall can also be rented and volunteers can be recruited to accommodate the tryers. For example, Rabobank and the voters at Badminton Club Lieshout contribute to offering barrier-free opportunities to be sporty and healthy.
