George and Capela heavily beaten on Monday

Kyshawn George and Clint Capela both suffered defeats in the NBA preseason on Monday.

The Valaisan and the Wizards were crushed 131-92 in Brooklyn, while the Genevan and the Hawks were subjected to the law of Philadelphia at home (104-89).

Promoted to Washington’s starting five three days earlier against Toronto, ‘rookie’ Kyshawn George came off the bench against the Nets. Aligned for 18 minutes, he remained discreet with 4 points, 2 assists and 1 rebound. He notably lacked skill in Brooklyn, missing his four 3-point attempts.

Clint Capela was entitled to 21 minutes of play against the 76ers, who were deprived of Joël Embiid and had to cope from the second quarter without Paul George (knee injury). The Geneva interior accumulated 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists in this second pre-season game delivered by Atlanta.
