‘Six legendary tennis players will face each other in the Six Kings Slam, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), agency. The world’s six leading tennis players will face each other in an exhibition match here from Wednesday. In this first tournament of its kind, number one Yannick Sinner, second place Carlos Alcaraz, fourth place veteran Novak Djokovic, fifth place Daniil Medvedev and Holger Rune along with Spanish legend Rafael Nadal, who is retiring next month, will be seen.

Final on October 19: These matches will be played in Riyadh’s stadium with a capacity of eight thousand spectators, the final of which will be held on October 19. In this, Nadal and Serbian star Novak Djokovic will probably be seen together on the court for the last time. Along with this tournament, Saudi Arabia has also expressed its interest in the game of tennis. Apart from this, the WTA Finals to be held at the end of the year is also to be held here.

Of the six players, four will face each other in the quarter-finals while two – Nadal and Djokovic – have been given direct entry into the semi-finals. In one quarter-final, Italy’s Sinner and Russia’s Medvedev will face each other, while in the other, Spain’s Alcaraz and Denmark’s Rune will face each other. The semi-final matches will be played on Thursday while the final and third place matches will be played on Saturday.

No ranking points: Although this exhibition tournament is not a part of ATP, hence no ranking points will be given in it but huge prize money will be given. Each player will get at least 1.5 million dollars (about Rs 12 crore 60 lakh), while the winner will be given the highest amount in tennis history, which will be six million dollars (about Rs 50 crore 42 lakh).
