According to NFL Network’s Ian RapoportThomas underwent surgery for the injury Wednesday morning.

The 25-year-old was a second-team All-Pro in 2022 and will be greatly missed on the blind side of quarterback Daniel Jones.

The injury occurred during the Giants’ loss to the Bengals on Monday night.

Rapoport previously said Thomas had seen Dr. Dr. Thomas, a renowned podiatrist in Charlotte. Reported that he was meeting Robert Anderson.

Andrew Thomas is expected to miss the remainder of the Giants’ season after suffering a major blow.

Unfortunately, this is the second straight season that Thomas has struggled with injuries, missing seven games last year.

Through six games this season, the Giants have just 2 wins and 4 losses and have had trouble putting up points.

With just 16 points per game, the Giants have the fourth-worst scoring offense in the league. Only the Browns, Patriots and injury-plagued Dolphins are close behind.

With this weekend’s important home game against the rival Philadelphia Eagles, Josh Ezeudu is expected to move into Thomas’ left tackle spot.
