Venezuelan Badminton team heading to Peru

The Venezuelan Badminton team in the sub 17, 19 and adult categories, left for Peru to compete in the upcoming international tournaments, with the aim of making a historic participation in the discipline and leaving the name of the country high.

The international tournaments are planned as follows:

Peru International Series from October 17 to 20

– International Junior Multicategory Regatta Cup October 22 to 27

Multicategories Cup October 23 to 27

The Venezuelan badminton team directed by Professor Jordan Martínez, is made up of: Barbara Lamas (Cojedes/U17) Fabricio Rodríguez (Cojedes/U17), Denisse Arveláez (Guárico/U17), Luis David Martínez (Guárico/U17), Mariangel García (Cojedes/U19), José Alian Pereira (Trujillo/U19), Ángeles Rojas (Cojedes/Adult), Frank Barrios (Aragua/Adult).

Likewise, the Venezuelan team was concentrated in the Olympic City of San Juan de los Morros, Guárico, where they carried out different training and improvements as part of their work plan for sporting events.

With all its preparation ready, the Creole Badminton team will stop in Bogotá – Colombia, to finally arrive in Peru in the afternoon of this Wednesday, October 16.
