The French rugby team will be decided. The Blues are about to know their opponents, since the draw for the groups for the next Women’s World Cup, which will take place in England from August 22 to September 27, takes place this Thursday. Placed in the first hat, Manae Feleu and her teammates should be relatively spared.
The French are in fact guaranteed to avoid the other top seeds: Canada, New Zealand and especially England, which remains on 20 victories. The Blues are doing quite well, given their performance at the last WXV in Vancouver last week, where they finished fifth (out of six)… They have ten months left to raise their level, if they want to do better than their 2021 semi-final.
The draw for the Women’s Rugby World Cup is scheduled for this Thursday, October 17, at 7:20 p.m. It will be followed live on Rugbypass TV.
