WAR, Santo Domingo.- He National Institute of Physical Education (<a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/01/myth-baseball-waiver-twine-arcade-pc-dump-loader-emuline/” title=”Myth Baseball Waiver Twine – ARCADE PC DUMP LOADER – Emuline”>INEFI)continuing with its agenda of promoting and encouraging healthy recreation in the country’s schools, took sports props and two of its programs to the Leonor Feltz Educational Center this Wednesday, where it also implemented a batting cage, and coaches and prospects from the Los Angeles Dodgers They gave talks.
The activity was also coordinated by the National Amateur Baseball Academy of the Dominican Republic (ANBARD), the entity that governs the Dodgers academy, and was headed by executive director Alberto Rodríguez Mella, who highlighted the historical importance of having coaches from the Dodgers academy. In that sense, Jesús Negrette, ANBARD Senior Operations Manager, thanked INEFI for the initiative, for going to the Leonor Felts school and then taking a tour of the Dodgers sports complex.
During the visit to the academy, the students were explained in detail about the operation of the facilities, its history and the importance of this team in the world of sports.
Negrette shared interesting facts with the students about the most memorable moments experienced at the stadium, highlighting the importance of values such as discipline, teamwork and perseverance on the path to success.
Meanwhile, prospects from the Los Angeles Dodgers Academy spoke to the students about the importance of education in the sports field.
The students not only enjoyed the tour, but also learned first-hand about the impact sports can have on people’s lives.
The activities began with the activities of the “Recreating myself with INEFI” program, followed by the participation of the former member of the national volleyball team and “Queen of the Caribbean”, Gina Mambrú, who gave a talk to 300 schoolchildren.
Also performing simultaneous exhibitions were maestro Braulio Ramírez, executive director of the Dominican Chess Federation; Nelson Ozuna, president of the Dominican Badminton Federation; the handball player Cari Luz Domínguez and the tennis players Luisanna Rodríguez and Juan Osvaldo Suárez.
The activity was attended by Franklin Duval, deputy director general of INEFI; Elvis Rodríguez López, District Director 10-07; Marián Vásquez, operations manager of Beisbol CLP; Jayza Rosario, CLP education assistant; Arismendy Lugo, district technician, and Carlos Pérez Díaz, district technician.
1,079 students are enrolled in the Leonor Feltz educational center, distributed in 30 sections of 30 to 45 students per classroom. It teaches initial, primary, and lower secondary levels and has a specific support classroom for students with disabilities, being a pilot center for inclusive education within the seven centers chosen nationally.
