The Quimsa Athletic Association debuted in the National Basketball League facing Regatas Corrientes at the Ciudad Stadium with resounding success. The merged team played in great shape to defeat Regatas Corrientes with authority by 103 to 85, at the start of this season of the National Basketball League.
In the Santiago team, those led by coach Leandro Ramella, who arrived with the filming of competing in Singapore in the Intercontinental Cup, showed before their people last night at the Ciudad stadium a great exhibition of their game to add their first official victory in the national competition with ease.

Patricio Tabarez and Nicolás Romano were the scorers of the Santiago team with 18 and 16 points respectively, while in Regatas Corrientes, Pablo Gramajo and James Reese were the best, both with 19 points.
Now, the Quimsa Athletic Association will prepare for the next match scheduled for Saturday against Boca at 11:30.
