Regulations
For whom
This activity is intended for teachers. Separate series will be set up for men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles, for both advanced and recreational teams.
If insufficient teams are registered for a certain category, they can be placed in another category. They will be ranked separately after the tournament.
Activity content
The game is played according to the regulations of Badminton Flanders and the MOEV regulations. Competition schedules will be communicated on site. Each duo has its own rackets and sufficient shuttles. The game is played in a tournament format. Number of matches depends on the number of registered teams.
Timetable
The first matches start promptly at 1:30 PM and the activity ends no later than 5:00 PM.
Anyone who knows in advance that they will not be able to be present on time due to circumstances must inform the MOEV secretariat. This can be taken into account when programming the competitions.
Cost
Participation in this activity costs €5 per team. This will be invoiced to the school afterwards or can be paid on site.
Scoring
The teams keep score themselves and immediately report the results to the MOEV manager after each match.

A set goes up to 21 points. (2 points difference)

Number of sets depends on the number of participants and available areas.

1 point per set won.

If there is an equal score between 2 participants, the mutual match counts.

In the event of an equal score between 3 or more participants, the points balance will apply first and then the largest number of points scored
