The BSC 95 Schwerin is convinced that the people of Schwerin want to do more sport again and increasingly in club sports. The current growth speaks volumes. The savings association has over 150 members and is celebrating its 30th anniversary next year. Nevertheless, the demand also has to do with the good reputation of the badminton club. It traditionally offers training times for every level and for almost all age groups. No other badminton department in the state capital does this. In addition to its offering for recreational sports, the sports hall on the Großer Dreesch also provides a home for numerous competitive athletes.
And the latter in particular are increasingly the flagship of the BSC. The supra-regional and national successes of the youth over the past year speak for themselves. Through the media, the Badminton Sport Club tries to spread its pride in and recognition of the boys and girls as best as possible. You don’t just rely on regional magazines and daily newspapers (such as the Nordkurier). The club has been relying on all kinds of online media for years. This certainly plays a role in why it is well received by the public.
Now comes the next highlight: the BSC finally has its own image video. “In the 2-minute film you can experience what makes the club and the sport so unique. And why the sports city of Schwerin offers much more than volleyball, handball and water sports,” emphasizes trainer and press officer Patrick Dettmann. Local know-how was also relied upon when it came to film. The young company RightVision Studios is responsible for the production.
The club still has room for new members. There is still room for improvement, especially in the children and youth sector. The sports hall at the Nils-Holgersson primary school is certainly big enough. Trial training is always possible. “Whatever brings you to us, we warmly welcome you and invite you to stay. Have fun with badminton and become part of the BSC 95 Schwerin,” said Dettmann to the Nordkurier readers.
Training times, further information and the image video can be found on the club homepage https://bsc95.de and on the BSC channels on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
