The MaxiNutrition Sport Challenge at the C&C Wienerberg marked the starting signal for the MaxiNutrition junior class from KRÜGER AUSTRIA with the support of ski sport icon Michaela Dorfmeister. Many well-known faces from top sports and social media were among the guests present – including Michael Konsel, Andreas Prommegger, Conny Kreuter, Michaela Dorfmeister and Stefan Koubek, who also took part in the sporting competition. The teams – each consisting of three people and one MaxiNutrition young talent – had to complete various disciplines in the sports challenge: padel tennis, badminton and cycling on the ergometer.
After an exciting competition and enthusiastic shouts from the enthusiastic audience, the team led by track cyclist and this year’s Olympic participant Raphael Kokas was finally able to take the hard-fought victory. The donation check for 8,000 euros was presented to the winning team by Theresa Korbuly (HNC Marketing Manager) at the award ceremony afterwards. The entire donation goes to the Vienna State Cycling Association to support the “RLM Vienna” division.
“The MaxiNutrition Sport Challenge was a complete success and a successful debut for our MaxiNutrition junior class. The idea of creating a junior class arose from the desire to promote young talent in sports through high-quality nutritional supplements and to support them holistically. “In addition, with our program we would like to show young people how enriching and diverse sport can be and increase awareness of the importance of physical activity.”says Theresa Korbuly, responsible for marketing and communications at KRÜGER AUSTRIA.
The MaxiNutrition junior class
Proper nutrition should not be missing from a healthy and active lifestyle: Since the product launch in Austria, MaxiNutrition has been supporting professional and amateur athletes in achieving their sporting goals with a large selection of functional food. With the founding of the MaxiNutrition junior class this year in collaboration with skiing icon Michi Dorfmeister, a program was created that accompanies young sporting talents on their way to outstanding achievements. “With passion, energy, strength and endurance you can achieve anything in sport and that’s exactly why I want to support young athletes on their path to top-class sport.”says mentor Michaela Dorfmeister.
Regardless of their favorite sport and personal passion, the initiative offers athletes a platform on which they can learn not only with each other – through the expertise of top athlete Michi Dorfmeister – but also from each other.
Five young athletes are currently part of the MaxiNutrition junior class: table tennis player Julian Rzihauschek, basketball player Sina Höllerl, sailor Anton Messeritsch, swimmer Lena Grabowski and track cyclist Raphael Kokas, who recently celebrated his Olympic debut in Paris.
