The latest production by Michel Lebrun, technical director of the Noyon Judo club, will surpass everything that has been done so far. The judoka has already panicked the social networks (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and has greatly expanded its usual audience since it became the digital standard bearer of Noyonnais clubs after the shock of the considerable drop in the amount allocated by the town hall this year to the clubs (which have still not received a cent, two months before the end of the year). His parody of Francis Cabrel, incisive and funny at the same time, has already made an impression. Little jokes about Mayor’s ballerinas rehearse in town. But as they say now: here, it’s next level.

Between two takes this Wednesday evening in the former bar l’Imprévu, Michel Lebrun summarizes his philosophy which could be summed up by: “We act stupid, but seriously”. “Since the start of this affair, it’s been like in sport. We demonstrate, we make clips, meetings, videos, and each time, we take a slap: nothing, no subsidy. Yet, we get up every time and try something else. We fall nine times, we get up ten times, but with a smile and trying to have fun all the same.”
Good humor is everywhere in the bar on Boulevard Charmolue that evening. On stools, Francis Carton and Bruno Morineau, from the basketball and rugby clubs, the two original leaders of the protest movement, observe, amused, their cadets moving to the revisited Cloclo hit.

The story of this clip is also an allegory of sport: a lot of work upstream for an optimal result on the big day. “I spent three weeks writing the lyrics, I wanted it to be perfect,” explains Michel Lebrun. We then had to record in the studio with Julien and Nicolas from the Noyon studio LRY Records on Boulevard Carnot. They are there again this Wednesday for the recording of the clip with Christopher Broyard, a young director from Noyon who came to add his touch. There was also work to develop the choreography with the two “Michellettes”, and to imagine the scenography with the extras/dancers. Then editing until the end of the night for a broadcast on TikTok this Thursday noon.
But why don’t the Noyon associations give up? The question is often asked of Michel Lebrun and the clubs. Because the fight is not over. While a meeting on Friday October 11 in the evening gives a glimpse of the hope of the return of 50,000 euros for the associations (out of the 100,000 euros stolen) – “if the town hall manages to make energy savings”, report the associations – the collective of clubs are calling to demonstrate tomorrow Friday before the municipal council. A council which will once again be eminently political, unlike the approach of the associations. At the end of filming, Michel Lebrun thanked his volunteers, friends, one-night dancers – all from clubs in the city – and wanted to say it again: “You will not find me on any list, in any position, it’s one thing is certain, we do this for the clubs.”
Du Cloclo expected Friday evening
Not for politics then, but “for the clubs”. Perhaps also in response to the provocations of the mayor who keeps putting a coin back into the machine. As in her last free column in the magazine Vivre à Noyon where she mentions pseudo threats and insults during the association festival demonstration this summer and accuses the demonstrators of having deprived the associations of their meeting. “There was no threat or insult, the clubs that wanted to demonstrate demonstrated, those that wanted to exhibit exhibited: we even received congratulations from Territorial Intelligence at the end of our day,” says Michel Lebrun.
And that should still be the case tomorrow Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. under the windows of city hall. We will definitely sing a few verses and choruses there.
