The Algerian senior judo selection got off to a good start at the 42nd military world championships taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, winning three medals (1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze).
This happened during the first day of this world competition, in which we find among the foreign headliners to follow, the presence of the Slovenian Andreja Leskicrowned Olympic champion in the -63 kg category this summer. More than 400 military judokas from 30 nations will take part in the world military meeting in Uzbekistana competition organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM), in coordination with the Uzbekistan Judo Federation.
