The Association of Hotels and Motels of the State of Tlaxcala (AHMET) estimates an economic impact of one million 500 thousand pesos in the state capital this weekend, due to the development of the 2024 Archery World Cup, as a result of an occupation of rooms 80 percent.
In an interview, the president of the AHMET, Virgilio Medellín Viveros commented that “it fills us with joy” that the government of Lorena Cuellar Cisneros promote this type of sports projects in Tlaxcala, since for the service sector it represents a great opportunity to increase employment, increase sales in restaurants and promote commerce in general. “Without a doubt it comes to reactivate the state’s economy and the presence of visitors and tourists commits us to providing quality and warmth service.”
