In an era dominated by technology, where smartphones, computers and tablets are now part of the everyday life of younger people, the need to learn to communicate effectively with the new generations emerges.

This is the message spread by the Municipality of Locorotondo, but to respond to these challenges the Department of Social and Youth Policies of Locorotondo organizes the event “Conscious Use of Electronic Devices: Risks and Resources”.

It’s about an opportunity for families and educators to explore the risks and potential of digital tools together.

The Professor will lead the meeting Michele Corrieroprofessor in Educational Sciences at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, who will offer reflections and practical advice on how to face the challenges of communication between generations, stimulating a balanced and safe use of technology. The appointment is scheduled for Friday 25 October from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, at the Madiba educational center.

The event also includes the participation of the operators of the Digital Facilitation Point and the girls of the Digital Civil Service, who will be available to provide insights and support to the participants on technical and practical issues, making the meeting a moment of shared learning.

The meeting is open to everyone, with particular attention to parents, teachers and reference adults who wish to acquire tools to better understand the digital world of young people and communicate with them in a constructive way.
