In recent days, the Financiers of the Provincial Command of Taranto have implemented a series of interventions throughout the provincial territory aimed at combating illicit trafficking, with particular regard to the dealing of narcotic substances.
The anti-drug checks, carried out with the aid of the canine units of the Taranto Guardia di Finanza Group, involved, in the various time slots of the day, the port ports and railway stations as well as the most popular accommodation facilities and meeting places among the young people.
Thanks to the infallible “nose“German Shepherds”CONDOR” e “YOGI’”, the Financiers found narcotic substances hidden inside bags and in the personal clothing of the detainees, or hidden in the fuel compartment of the cars available to them.
At the end of the service operations, the Fiamme Gialle of the Taranto Group seized numerous doses of heroin, cocaine and hashish, reporting 15 managers to the competent authorities.
The activities in question fall within the scope of a broader mechanism to combat illicit trafficking implemented by the Fiamme Gialle, in order to prevent and repress the serious phenomenon of drug consumption, especially by young people.
