By the whim – or magic – of the draw, the BBM offers itself an unprecedented duel this Saturday evening (8 p.m.) at the Collineum Pascal Laperche. Its first two senior teams meet for a Homeric match whose outcome will decide who, one or the other, will continue the competition.
Coached for one evening by Devan Bailey assisted by Laurent Marmié, team 2 leaves with a 21-point lead. The suspense lies in knowing when Hugo Pellure’s men will catch up and then overtake their friends. Unless… “It’s both great and joyful to compete against the standard bearers of our club,” commented Mathieu Hayère, player of team 2 who was trained at BBM. We are going to play hard, avoiding, of course, too harsh contacts which would handicap both one and the other in the future…”

“South West” Super Cup
The Pennoise in search of exploits. The Marmandais will not be the only ones to take to the courts this weekend. Indeed, another Lot-et-Garonnais club is involved in the Cup. This is the Association La Pennoise (R3) which will receive its counterpart from the Union St-Sever Audiignon Montaut (R2) on behalf of the 3e round of the “Sud West” senior men’s Super Cup. The match is scheduled for this Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Tournon-d’Agenais sports hall. The Lot-et-Garonnais will start the match with a 7-point lead.
