As part of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and the People’s Republic of China (1964-2024), the French University Sports Federation (FFSU) welcomed, from October 13 to 15 in Paris, a delegation from the Chinese Federation of School and University Sport (FUSC), for a cultural and sporting stay.

On Monday October 14, the FFSU organized, in collaboration with the French Badminton Federation (Pôle France INSEP), a friendly match between French athletes and 10 Chinese badminton students, representing several major universities.

This exchange was marked by the presence of Ms. Liu Jin, vice-president of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), as well as Olympic badminton champions Gao Ling and Li Xuerui, who accompanied the Chinese delegation.

The FFSU warmly thanks Stéphane Gérard (representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the DGESIP) and Baptiste Dumain (representing the Rectorate of Paris) for their presence, as well as the Ligue Île-de-France of university sport and the FF Badminton (Pôle France INSEP), for their contribution to the success of this event.

This sporting exchange helped to strengthen ties between our two countries through university sport, a symbol of cooperation and international dialogue.
