The Los Angeles Lakers chose Bronny James in the latest NBA Draft with call number 55. Despite the many difficulties LeBron’s son had in the pre-season, Gilbert Arenas defended the franchise’s decision to include Bronny on the roster. These are his statements in the podcast Gil’s Arena.
Arenas’ words: “Everyone judges him for his basketball, but no one judges Bronny James as an influencer. He literally has more followers than a three-time NFL champion. Players chosen in his range of the draft are not given this media attention due to the impact they have had on the team. Let me know which player at pick number 55 would have been a better pick.”
