The first day of the senior category of the 45th edition of the Municipal Sports Games, which includes those born in 2006 and previous years, will take place this weekend in four facilities in the district: the Chamartín and Pradillo municipal sports centers and in the Basic sports facilities Rosa Jardón and Santa Hortensia.
Both on Saturday and Sunday, indoor soccer teams will compete at the CDM Chamartín and the IDB Rosa Jardón and Santa Hortensia, in different slots between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. For its part, 7-a-side football matches will be held at the CDM Pradillo between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The first day of the rest of the categories will take place on November 9 and 10. That weekend the competitions for prebenjamines (born between 2017 and 2018), benjamines (2015 and 2016), juveniles (2013 and 2014), children (2011 and 2012), cadets (2009 and 2010) and youth (2007 and 2008).
The Municipal Sports Games have brought sport closer to hundreds of thousands of young people since 1980, promoting values such as participation, integration, solidarity and respect for the opponent above results and classifications. In these municipal competitions, in which associations, schools, clubs, entities and individuals participate, sports such as athletics, badminton, cross country, climbing (individual and family), fencing, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, judo are practiced. , karate, wrestling, swimming, artistic swimming, pickleball (individual and family), canoeing, rowing, chess, triathlon, tennis and table tennis.
