NBA: four days before the restart, Yabusele clumsy shooting during the last preparation match

Four days before the resumption of the NBA, French interior Guerschon Yabusele participated in his last preseason match, on the night of Friday to Saturday. Against Orlando, the Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist scored 9 points, delivered 2 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds in 17 minutes. His Philadelphia Sixers team lost quite badly (114-99).

As usual, Guerschon Yabusele brought a lot of energy but a low shooting success (28%) tarnished his performance. Back after five years of absence in the NBA, the interior had many good games during the preseason. With in particular a double-double at 10 points and 11 rebounds against the Hawks of Zaccharie Risacher or even 15 points scored in 16 minutes during his return match.

The Lakers adrift

Among the other French players involved last night, the young Rayan Rupert, aged 20, participated in Portland’s victory against Utah (124-86). With a very nice statistical line: 20 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

The evening was also marked by the collapse of the Lakers against the Warriors. The final gap is 58 points against the Los Angeles team (132-74). If LeBron James did not play, his son, nicknamed “Bronny”, participated in the meeting. His 17 points were not enough to avoid this terrible rout.
