Scandal Revealed: Former Fenerbahçe Player Admits to Indiscretion in National Team Camp

Max Kruse, former football player of the German National Team and Fenerbahçe, came to the fore with his surprising statements. The 36-year-old retired striker attracted attention by participating in the ‘Big Brother‘ program broadcast in Germany. The confessions he made during the program resonated both in the football world and among the audience.

Kruse, who played 14 times for Germany and scored four goals, played more than 300 matches in total in clubs such as Wolfsburg and Union Berlin. The former star, who is now away from the field, shared his health struggle for the last 10 years and interesting details about his private life with the audience.

“I HAVE HEMORRHOID PROBLEM FOR 10 YEARS”

Kruse explained the health problem he experienced to his housemates in the program with the following words:

“I have been suffering from hemorrhoids for 10 years. But I have never been to a doctor. It is really difficult for me to cope with this situation. I do not want to sit in the chair where a woman sits at the gynecologist and have someone look at my butt. I have a hard time coping with this thought.”

Housemates Leyla Lahouar and Mike Heiter supported Kruse and tried to persuade her to see a specialist. But they also expressed concerns about hygiene. Question marks have arisen especially regarding the use of common areas such as pools and toilets.

“HANSI FLICK CAUGHT ME”

Kruse’s statements on the ‘Big Brother’ program were not limited to health problems. The former football player also confessed to an incident he experienced before a friendly match against England in London in 2013.

Kruse stated that they witnessed Hansi Flick and Oliver Bierhoff, who were members of the German National Team technical team at the time, being caught with a sex worker in their hotel room.

During a poker game at the team hotel, someone suggested I invite a woman to my room. I accepted the suggestion. We started talking to the woman in my room and five minutes later there was a knock on the door. “It was Hansi Flick, assistant coach and team coordinator Oliver Bierhoff.”

The football player explained that Flick gave him a warning after the incident:

“They told me, ‘Send him immediately, we will talk about this in the morning.’ The next day, I received the warning: ‘We are happy with your performance on the field, but you cannot do such things. Either you focus completely on your football or you will not be in the World Cup squad.'”

“I WAS REMOVED FROM THE NATIONAL TEAM SQUAD”

Kruse said he heeded the warnings and performed well throughout the rest of the season, but still found himself left out of the 2014 World Cup squad:

“It hurt me deeply to be left out of the World Cup squad. It would have been great to win the championship with that team. There were other football players who brought escorts to their hotel rooms at that time, but maybe they handled it more intelligently.”
