Istanbul Governorship announced the roads and alternative routes that will be closed to traffic tomorrow within the scope of the international bicycle race and the activities of the 29 October Republic Day.
According to the statement made by the Governorship, during the rehearsal to be held tomorrow on Vatan Street within the scope of “Tour de France, L’etape By Tour de France International Cycling Race” and “101st Anniversary Activities of the 29 October Republic Day” and until the end of the program on the day of the ceremony. The roads that will be closed to traffic and alternative routes have been determined.
The roads that will be closed to traffic from 06.00 to 14.00 tomorrow due to the bicycle race are listed as follows:
“Küçüksu Street, Cuma Yolu Street, Körfez Street, Mehmet Ali Birand Street, Okul Street, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Street, Orhan Veli Kanık Street, Nazım Street, Hekimbaşı Çiftlik Street, Göksu Street, Atatürk Street, Cumhuriyet Street, Çengeldere Street, Polonezköy Road , Seyri Street, Ayazma Street, Trabzon Street, Seniye İsmail Hanım Street, Meraşal Mustafa Kemal Street, Meftun Street, Şehit Levent Birgen Street, Şehit Mehmet Ali Şener Street, Riva Street, Paşabahçe Polonezköy Road, Yeni Riva Road, Kavacık Junction, Mihrişah Valide Sultan Street.”
In return, citizens are given directions from Kandilli İskele Street towards Observatory, from Dereboyu Street towards Yavuztürk Street, from Çubuklu Şehit Ersin Güner Street towards Dedeoğlu Street, from Dr. It was suggested that they use Ömer Besim Street, Nişangah Street and Göksu Otağtepe Street.
The roads that will be closed for the race from 08.00 until the end of the program are TEM Highway Güney Maslak junction, TEM Güney Maslak Side Road, TEM Güney Etiler junction and TEM Kuzey Kavacık junction.
In contrast, the flow coming from TEM Highway South will be transferred from Maslak Side Road to the direction of TEM North and Büyükdere Street. The flow coming to the South Etiler junction will be directed to Büyükdere Street within Etiler, and the flow coming to the TEM North Kavacık junction will be directed to the bridge direction from the TEM North transit.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED FOR REPUBLIC DAY EVENTS
As part of the holiday events, Adnan Menderes Boulevard (Vatan Street) and all roads leading to it will be closed to traffic at appropriate points until the end of the rehearsal and program on Fatih Vatan Street tomorrow, October 29, at 06.00 on the ceremony day.
Starting from 22.00 today, vehicles parked on Adnan Menderes Boulevard and its side roads will be removed until the rehearsal ends tomorrow.
Citizens will be able to use Turgut Özal Boulevard (Millet Street) and Fevzipaşa Street as alternatives.
