Matchday 4 in the third round 2026 World Cup qualification for the Asian zone has finished playing. Following are the complete results and standings.
The 18 teams, divided into three groups, have so far played four matches each in paving the way to the 2026 World Cup.

Japan’s streak of 100 percent results, in Group C, finally stopped on Matchday 4 after a 1-1 draw against Australia. It was also the first time that Samurai Blue’s goal was conceded in this phase of the 2026 World Cup qualification in the Asian zone.
