Peribán, Mich, October 18, 2024.- A 14-year-old minor who was dedicated to cutting avocados lost his life after being electrocuted after accidentally touching high-voltage cables in an orchard in this town of Peribán.
The now deceased responded in life to the name of Bernabé C., originally from a community in Chilapa, Guerrero, but a resident of the city of Los Reyes.
During the reporting work, it was established that the group of cutters, among whom were the minor’s relatives, were cutting the fruit inside the orchard called Cuctza, when suddenly the teenager touched the high-voltage cables with his metal hook. strain.
The minor received a strong electric shock, suffering serious internal burns and as a result, he died instantly at the scene despite the efforts of his companions who tried to help him.
Elements of the local police arrived at the site, as well as Civil Protection paramedics who, after checking the injured person, determined that he no longer had vital signs, so they reported it to the State Attorney General’s Office.
Minutes later, the expert personnel arrived to carry out the pertinent investigations of the case, ordering that the body be sent to the Forensic Medical Service so that the required autopsy could be performed and the minor subsequently handed over to his relatives.
