Andrea Palleschi, very promising young judo player from Avezzano, silver medal at the Umbria Cup in Spello with Asd Il Salice –

AVEZZANO – The “2024 Umbria Cup”, organized by the Umbria Regional Committee FIJLKAM Judo sector, took place today in Spello, a city famous for its flower display, in the province of Perugia.

The race, reserved for pre-competitive classes: “Children (5-7 years), “Children (8 and 9 years)” and “Boys (10 and 11 years); saw the participation of around 300 athletes from regions throughout central Italy. Therefore, the positive note of the large turnout and the importance of the race must be further underlined!

In this context, therefore, the Asd Il Salice could not be missing. This is so true that the Avezzano judokas were present with one of the most prominent new athletes in the pre-competitive categories, but who are about to become Competitors: Andrea Palleschi, an eleven-year-old who fights at the 45 kg limit.

With an excellent performance, Andrea finished in second place, winning the Silver medal. The athletes, already very constant in training at the “I Cinque Elementi” facility, under the direction of the three ASDs that operate there: Il Salice; CSR Ju Jitsu Italie and Ju Jitsu Winner team De Clemente FM, located in Via dei Gladioli N° 12 in Avezzano, are looking towards the CSEN National Championship competition where six of them will be involved.
