A day full of activities.
From 9 a.m., the official opening was marked by warm speeches and the presentation of the teams. The first match brought together the best young U18s from the amateur championship, showing all their potential and their passion for the game. The collection continues until October 31 and November 3, 2024.

The Former Basketball Players of Benin did not fail to leave their mark on this exceptional day! Their impressive performance, punctuated by 2-point shots, 3-point shots and controlled layups, proved that age had no power over their talent.
A Crescendo Intensity with the Pros!
An intense match between players from the Pro League and the D2 championship thrilled the audience. Hearts beat faster, and the energy on the field reached new heights, giving another dimension to the event. The three-point shooting workshops set the mood, with each shot being a challenge taken on with boundless energy. The dunk contests then set the field alight, with spectacular acrobatics that left the audience speechless. The other competitions were not to be outdone, offering moments of tension and adrenaline.
The free throw, three-pointer, two-pointer, and dunk contests showcased incredible talent. The participants pushed their limits and offered a thrilling show to the public. At the level of the free throw competition, Darrel emerged victorious with his exceptional precision while it was Balo who was able to master the art of long distance shooting in the three-point shooting competition. For his part, David shone with his consistency and speed in the two-point shooting contest and 1 Vs 1 and in the dunk contest, Darif literally set the court on fire with spectacular acrobatics.

After these intense events, the participants were able to regain their strength with a well-deserved break. This moment of conviviality, punctuated by lively music, was an opportunity to exchange and strengthen bonds between players, volunteers and spectators.

A special tribute was paid to former Beninese basketball players through an unforgettable match. Their performance inspired the young people by demonstrating that, for them, basketball is more than a game, it is an art that they have mastered to perfection. These legends proved that the passion for this sport never fades. A tribute was also paid to the deceased pioneers of Beninese Basketball.
Coaches vs. Referees: When the Roles Reverse!
The gala match between the coaches and the referees brought a touch of originality, and above all, a lot of laughter! In a relaxed atmosphere, the referees and coaches settled their scores on the field, under the refereeing… of the players themselves. The latter took pleasure in distributing a few faults to their usual judges! At the end of the match, the coaches were victorious with a score of 55 to 45, proving that they have mastered not only the strategy, but also the action on the field. However, the referees do not intend to stop there, promising to come back even stronger during the next edition.
