Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, played the first nine years of his career in Pittsburgh, but was traded to the Raiders in 2019 due to a feud with former quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. CTE is a degenerative brain disease that can occur after repeated concussions or other traumatic brain injuries. The disease can cause behavioral and mood problems, difficulty thinking, and may even lead to dementia. However, CTE can only be diagnosed through a brain autopsy after someone has died.
Many of Brown’s fans live in western Pennsylvania and could cast critical votes in November.

Brown has been an ardent supporter of former President Trump throughout this election cycle. The former football star said he would support Trump during an interview with OutKick’s Nick Adams in May, praising the former president’s background and contributions to hip-hop industry figures.
“I have never met him. I admire his business moves and study his father, Fred Trump. But I think Donald Trump was a good businessman, he came from a good family, he was a good person. “Mr. President.” Brown said. “I think he’s doing a great job for my brothers in music with Lil Wayne and Kodak (Black).”
Brown has frequently expressed support for Trump through memes and more direct political messages on his social media platforms.
After the attempted assassination of Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July, Brown praised the former president’s resilience.
