Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Indonesian National Team earned a B minus (B-) in two games 2026 World Cup Qualification period October.
On October 10, Indonesia was held by Bahrain, then lost 1-2 to China on October 15. Only winning one point meant that Indonesia failed to achieve the target of 6 points that they had set.
The Garuda Squad’s performance against Bahrain and China did not escape the attention of Malaysian football observers Faiz Gurun and Keesh Sundaresan. Both of them gave an assessment of the performance of the Indonesian National Team.

“We agreed to give B- to Indonesia this time,” said the two observers, quoted from Astro Arena.
This assessment reflects several things that the Red and White Team needs to improve. Overall, Heesh and Faiz Indonesia’s performance is still quite good and promising for the next matches.
Even though they have only collected three points from the four matches that have been played, the two observers emphasized that the opportunity in Group C of the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification is still wide open, because places two to six are not far enough apart in points.
It’s just that the Indonesian national team needs to fight harder to maintain its chances of getting a ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
PSSI targets the Red and White Team to rank third and fourth in Group C of the 2026 World Cup Qualification by collecting 15 points. By occupying that position, Indonesia can hope to get a ticket to the 2026 World Cup through the final playoff route.
