Sem Steijn is very disappointed with the draw against RKC Waalwijk. FC Twente did not get further than 2-2 in Waalwijk on Saturday evening.
According to Joseph Oosting, there was laziness at FC Twente and Steijn agrees with that. “Everyone wants to do their best, but it just wasn’t enough tonight,” he responds Football International. “We didn’t do the right things with the ball, we were way too sloppy. You help the opponent back into the game. Just not good. This is really disappointing.”
It is not the first loss of points in the competition for FC Twente this season. The Tukkers are already twelve points behind clear leader PSV. “I think it can be explained,” says Steijn. “You have to attack better and score more goals. That is a point of attention for us. And RKC-out you just have to get three points.”
