Marc Marquez wins MotoGP Australia 2024 on Sunday (20/10) yesterday. Having fallen to 13th position due to his silly mistake of littering, the Gresini rider shot to the leading position quickly.

Marquez was also able to overtake Francesco Bagnaia in the middle of the race, then overtook Jorge Martin at the end of the lap. Marquez became champion, followed by Martin and Bagnaia.

Jorge Martin take your hat off Marc Marquez. According to Martin, everything went smoothly.

“A great weekend and being able to get on the podium. I certainly want to win and try my best,” he said Crash.

“I struggled hard to get past Pecco and Marquez. But then, I almost fell at Turn 1 and Pecco overtook but I immediately counterattacked,” he explained.

Marc Marquez who overtook Jorge Martin at turn four with about six laps remaining, leaving Martin dead in his tracks. The Pramac rider initially wanted to attack Marquez back, but it felt difficult.

“Marquez has something else. Maybe it’s not about speed, but he can take risks that I can’t,” he said.

“I just thought, ‘wow aggressive,'” he said with a smile.

“Turn 4 was the only point where I felt Marquez was stronger than me. I really struggled with the right side of the front tire from laps 5 to 6 and it was the only place where I could hear him right on the behind,” he concluded.

Despite finishing second, Jorge Martin can still maintain a distance of 20 points from Francesco Bagnaia. Then there are three remaining series, next is the 2024 Thailand MotoGP at the weekend, Sunday (27/10)!
