The technical team that led the first cycling camp for the Conade 2025 National Games was very satisfied, held this weekend at the Hidalguense High Performance Sports Center (CDHAR) and at the facilities of the Education, Health, Science District. , Technology and Innovation (DESCTI).

The 2025 cycling process began on Friday, with attendance at the velodrome, then there was a meeting with parents with points towards the CONADE National Games, looking at selection issues.

This was announced by Maco Antonio Ríos, leader of the Hidalgo Youth Cycling Association (ACJH), who stated that the first selective is being considered for December, but it could be safer in January, “we talked with parents to go more to the velodrome, to grow the group, everyone is very excited to participate with the Association.”

Likewise, he added that on Saturday they started the camp with physical activity, exercises, walks, as well as physical evaluations with the multidisciplinary team, later they had a rest and resumed physical work in the gym.

They also had motivational talks and today, Sunday, we were in the City of Knowledge with 50 participants, “we have a group of 11 children and below, a mountain group, led by Uriel Clara, the older group is brought by Leonel Palma and Julio’s group Benítez, for my part, supporting the organization,”

“We are very happy, we had 40 children and 80 percent of them we did not know, we are finding the young people who we did not have contact with and they are joining,” Marco added.

At the same time, he commented that they come from several municipalities, from Villa de Tezontepec, Apaxco, Mixquiahuala, Ixmiquilpan, San Salvador, Actopan, they also have teams but there are several initiation teams that involve joining them with the High Performance group.

“The next camp will be the last week of November, with the last track activity, the last Friday of each month, then go to the athlete’s house, evaluate them and see how they are progressing, all this in conjunction with INHIDE, they see how things are done and that it is done in a more professional way.”
