Determined to win another title before LeBron James retires, everything suggests that the Lakers should attempt at least one move during this season. And even before the restart, 5 names stand out.
Lost within the Western Conference, the Lakers are hoping to have a great season for one of LeBron James’ last. This is clearly not the time to miss out, which is why some fans are angry with Rob Pelinka and his wait-and-see attitude on the market. The Angelinos didn’t recruit much during the summer, and that could be costly in the end.
While we expect a crazy season from Anthony Davis, LeBron will be spared on his side, he who will celebrate his 40th birthday at the end of the year. We will have to hope for a revival of D’Angelo Russell in the lead, even if some fans have already turned the page regarding the leader. The latter could actually serve as a bargaining chip to recruit another player in NBA.
A guaranteed trade for the Lakers?
One target stands out from the others in recent months for the Angelinos: Zach LaVine, who could arrive in Los Angeles shortly. But the front office continues to sound out other players, with 5 other people according to information from Anthony Irwin, insider for ClutchPoints. It looks like Pelinka wants to explore all avenues.

It’s impossible to know who the Lakers will set their sights on this season, but there will be discussions. These should intensify in February with the famous deadline but until then, a turnaround remains technically possible, especially if there are numerous victories.
Kessler is a name that could please, the Lakers needing a new pivot behind injured Christian Wood, while Davis wants to spend time at position 4. On the X network, supporters have also expressed their wish to see a pivot coming to Los Angeles.
