The new indoor season starts in the 1st Men’s Fistball Bundesliga, with a new game mode for the first time. Three teams from the region are there, and on the first matchday there is a direct duel between TV Stammheim and TV Vaihingen/Enz. For the hockey women from HC Ludwigsburg, the move to the roof is still imminent; they have their last games of the field round on the program this weekend. Badminton | SG Schorndorf with its last home game for four months

So far things are simply not going well for SG Schorndorf in the 1st Badminton Bundesliga. The Daimlerstadt team lost their first three appearances of the season – all home games – 0:7. The next big chunk awaits the SGS at the weekend: Then the eleven-time German champions 1. BC Bischmisheim will be a guest in Schorndorf. It is the team’s last home game before seven away appearances in a row. Only in four months, on February 22, 2025, will the SGS Bundesliga team be seen again in the local Karl Wahl sports hall.

Basketball | European Cup top game for the RIESEN

In the Bundesliga, the basketball players from MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg returned on Saturday with a 91:62 win against Göttingen. Normally the home venue of the Bozic Estriche Knights Kirchheim is the Stadtmitte sports hall in Kirchheim/Teck. For certain games, the basketball players from VfL Kirchheim/Teck move a few kilometers further and welcome their opponents in the much larger EWS Arena in Göppingen. When the Bietigheim Steelers and the Heilbronner Falken face each other on the ice, it’s always exciting. Two fencing tournaments of very different stripes can be seen this weekend in the greater Stuttgart area. At the International Würth Cup in Künzelsau, the duelists compete on the saber. First there is a U-20 tournament and the next day there is the competition for the active class. At the foil tournament for the Adolf Ermer plaque in Stuttgart, foil is used. Handball | TVB has to deal with the master

With just one win from eight games this season, handball Bundesliga team TVB Stuttgart has so far fallen short of expectations. Hockey | Last field round appearances for HCL women for now

For the women’s hockey team from HC Ludwigsburg, the last two games in the 2nd Field Hockey Bundesliga South are coming up. While the starters in the Nellinger Kirbelauf can cover a maximum of 7.3 kilometers, the participants in the Sparkassen Alb Marathon run up to 50 kilometers.
