Foreigners applaud Tlaxcala as host of the Archery World Cup

After experiencing the Tlaxcala 2024 Archery World Cup Final intensely and with great passion, foreign World Archery México (Wamex) applauded the state as host of this sporting event, recognizing what they described as its excellent organization.

India goalkeeper Dhiraj Bommadevara thought the organization was fantastic; “I love coming here, especially in the cup final with all the athletes, the organization is very good, the city is beautiful, and staying here even for practice feels very good.”

He took the opportunity to highlight the art of the entity, mentioning that the colorful carpet, considered ephemeral art, captured on the competition field, especially gives an incredible view in each of the shots, “the people are very very good, the best is In Tlaxcala, its people are very energetic, very supportive, they support us in archery and in the game.”

For the Italian goalkeeper, Mauro Nespoli, the organization of the World Cup event was very good, but he also applauded the inauguration of the goalkeeper training school. “I hope to have another competition here, now that they created this archery school in Tlaxcala and in the future I hope to return.”

Meanwhile, France’s goalkeeper, Thomas Chirault, in his first participation in the Tlaxcalteca entity, highlighted the temporary stadium, which he assured was beautiful, “I think it is one of the best fields to shoot and it is incredible because it is not like in the Olympic Games, it is a very beautiful field.”

On the occasion, Mark Chauvet, speaker at the sporting event, stated that holding these competitions in Mexico means experiencing tournaments that are out of the ordinary in terms of atmosphere, since the fans are always energetic, welcoming, smiling and make everyone involved feel special.

The second place winner in compound bow, Meri-Marita Pass, from Estonia, said she enjoyed her participation and stay in Tlaxcala. “Mexican people are very passionate and I have never had such an incredible crowd as I have here and I have been enjoying every minute.”

Who also recognized the warmth of the population was the Colombian who won first place in the compound bow, Sara López, and thanked Tlaxcala for the support received, since she felt at home and accompanied at all times.

Finally, the Cuban judge, Sergio Font, noted that “everything was wonderful, wherever you go you can experience the atmosphere of the tournament, not just where the archers are shooting, everything very well organized.”

He congratulated the state government for its hosting since the inauguration, the attention provided and the closing of the sports event.
