Denmark Open Senior: Team D is at the forefront everywhere

In Odense, the Danish Badminton Association organized not only the Denmark Open for professionals but also corresponding international events for young people and seniors.

The game (seniors O35-O75) took place over three days in the Dalumhallen with 12 fields, bistro, grandstand, etc. The balls were placed, the scoreboards were operated by the players everywhere and nets were seen that were really flush with the posts. Only the light between the fields was a bit tricky, a bit bright if you wanted to play a high ball near the sideline.

The large group from Germany (41 of 286 starters) was not only “gifted” with a ticket to the semifinals, but also with many medals.

Saturday afternoon was cleared by the organizer so that all participants had access to the Jysk Arena at no additional cost to watch the professionals at work at the Super 750 Denmark Open. The arena was excellently prepared with robots, lighting effects, catering, merchandising, autograph sessions, courts for free play and much more. Great to have seen that.
