With an outstanding performance, the Costa Rican delegation of judo has left its mark in Panama during the Open Centro Norte and the International Cadet and Junior Cup, held from October 18 to 20.

The athletes not only represented the country with pride, but also return to the country with an important medal tally.
The national team competed in the senior men’s category, in the women’s branch. They were also present in the Cadets and Junior Cup in the men’s and women’s Junior.
The Ticos closed with a medal table of 17 medals, of which 10 were gold, four were silver and three were bronze.

On the other hand, the previous month the Ticos judokas stood on the podium in the Pan American Cadet and Junior Cup, held in Asunción, Paraguay. Also the medals they won weeks ago at the Central American Secondary School Student Games.
