Trainers participate in archery training day

TLAXCALA, Tlax., October 21, 2024.- According to a statement, the training day for beginner and intermediate coaches, carried out by World Archery of Mexico, within the framework of the Archery World Cup Final, ended successfully, after three days of presentations by specialists in the discipline, who met at the facilities of the Hotel San Francisco in the city of Tlaxcala.

This is how the administration headed by Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros supports the sports development of the entity, with the support of international elite events to encourage the participation of coaches who seek to work under quality indices for major competitions.

During the three days of training, the archers reinforced their knowledge of compound and recurve bows, as well as technical aspects for before, during and after competitions and training, among others.

The first presentation was given by the specialist Filippo Clini, in the recurve bow modality. In compound bow, the Mexican Julio Fierro and the specialist in Environmental Sciences of the shooting schools, Oliver Grillat.

Subsequently, work tables were held for socialization, the exchange of ideas and new work proposals to encourage a work plan in the shooting schools. Subsequently, the closing of this day took place, with the presentation of the Work Plan by the president of World Archery México, Gabriel Ramos Rodríguez.

In this presentation, Ramos Rodríguez opted for the growth of this discipline in the face of the new season of archery competitions and explained that Mexico, at an international level, has the quality required to develop elite competitions.

“Everything we do at World Archery would not make sense without you. We must work together for our sport to advance. We can achieve great things for our athletes,” he said.

The coaches supported the representatives of Mexico in the sports competition that took place in the temporary stadium in front of the Government Palace.
