Badmin’girls in pink to support the fight against cancer

Forty-two bad players from the ASLB club met on Friday evening, October 18, 2024, at the Jean-Rostand-de-Lamotte-Beuvron gymnasium to play fifty matches, judged by Maxime Petat and Rémi Teillet, managers and competition organizers of the event. . They were able to organize this evening (make the deadlines and the groups) thanks to two days of training that they followed in Blois.

The forty-two badistas were very happy with their evening and appreciated the friendly atmosphere of this evening. They were also very sensitive to its charitable aspect, as part of Pink October and all played the game by coming dressed in pink. The refreshment bar worked very well, all the money raised went to the ARC Foundation for cancer research.

Léa and Émeline, organizers of this evening meeting, welcomed the badistas with small gifts and gave them to the victorious badistas and finalists. “It is therefore a very positive outcome for this first 100% female and charitable Promobad organized by the ASLB club”they concluded.

Tournament winners

In pool A, Justine Bellon and Marion Gaschet, Badistes Balgentiens, won. In pool B, Camille Coratella and Jeanne Plisson, from the Bourges Badminton club, won. Finally, Pool C was won by Gweno Édouard, from Volants Joviciens and Aline Tellier from the Lamottoise Badminton Sports Association.
