Bahiense del Norte is going through an uncomfortable situation in the local First Division basketball tournament, where it is second to last and, if it continues in that position, it should play for permanence.
“I am always self-critical and say that I am responsible, but we really got into this situation for several reasons. We are in a position that I have never experienced before. I am trying to handle it as calmly as possible, being patient and transmitting positive energy to whatever comes,” said Colo in “El Diario Deportivo”, which is broadcast from Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 3pm, on La Nueva Play.
After remembering his beginnings as a soccer player and also what his profession was like as a physical education teacher, Navallo returned to the present of the Primera.
“We played the final of the previous tournament because we deserved it, we did things well, and this one we did not do well at all, beyond situations such as injuries and some distances, among other issues,” he said, pointing out what they lost with the game. of Pedro Santiago, the injury of Sebastián Luengo and the injuries of several who came from behind.
“If this had happened to me in my early years, maybe I didn’t know how to handle it, but now, I rely on three things: tranquility to transmit, patience, which is what costs me the most, and resilience,” he noted.
Trying to analyze the results of this tournament, Navallo understood that behind closed doors they will have to evaluate what is intended with basketball in Bahiense, which had, in his opinion, too many open fronts in terms of different competitions.
“What we have to talk about is whether we can play in all the federal leagues, for me you cannot participate in four men’s and two women’s leagues, because you don’t have the time. Many times we don’t have the field, another day is free at ten at night or five in the afternoon and the players can’t train,” he said.
