Judo raises €140 for Pink October
The judo club organized a self-defense course on Thursday, October 17, the profits of which were donated to the fight against breast cancer.
This course was led by Anthony Lesure, the club’s ju-jitsu instructor and currently in BPJEPS training.
Thus, thanks to the participants and a contribution from the club, the latter donated €140.
All in solidarity at the march for Perspectives against cancer
It was predicted, it rained this Saturday. Which did not discourage more than 200 people from participating in the pink march organized by the municipality in partnership with the CCPV.

Walk and zumba this Sunday for the League Against Cancer
On Sunday October 27, the town of Formerie is organizing a morning in favor of Pink October and the League against cancer.
Meet at 9:30 a.m. in front of the town hall, for the start of the pink march at 10 a.m. You can choose from three courses of 4, 7 and 9 kilometers.
Then, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Mouv’Dance de Formerie association will host a zumba class at the Louis-Jouvet room.
The Espérance de Formerie brass band will also be there.
To take part in these activities, a minimum contribution of €2 is required. The profits collected will be donated to the League Against Cancer.
Finally, from noon, the Formerie town hall will offer a friendly drink.
Around fifty hikers on the 1st Pink October march
Last year, every second pole was surrounded by a pink ribbon for Pink October in the village. In Fontaine-Bonneleau, this year, in addition to the same decorations, a march was organized this Saturday, October 19, starting from the courtyard behind the town hall.
Before leaving, hikers had the opportunity to buy small items and/or make a donation for the Cancer League and received a pink ribbon to wear on their clothing.
For a first hike, around fifty people set off on a circuit around the village to the Catheux mill, the fort chevron, the wood of the sow, to return via the Domeliers valley.

Around a hundred walkers with EPISSOS for Pink October
Thursday October 17, EPISSOS invited all its teams, as well as each person wishing to take part, to a 2km walk in support of the fight against breast cancer.
Each participant paid €4 to participate in this second edition. Enough to raise a few hundred euros thanks to the event, while giving a smile to residents happy to be able to go out for a walk wearing a touch of pink.
In addition, EPISSOS participates in the Movember campaign, aimed at raising awareness of male diseases, particularly prostate cancer. To this end, she is organizing a theatrical performance on November 13 at 3 p.m. at the Poix-de-Picardie village hall. All around the Blue!a show by the company La Belle Histoire. At the end of November, a global check will be donated to Centropolis and the League Against Cancer.
