The football and music festival “Art Football 2024” will be held in the Spartak arena in Sokolniki on November 3 and 4. On the first day, 12 Russian artistic teams from different regions of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republics of Mordovia and Kalmykia, will play. This was announced by the organizer of the Art Football festival, president of the Starko football club, leader of the Zodchie group, Yuri Davydov, during a press conference of the Moscow Government Information Center.
“The Art Football festival has been held in Russia since 2007. This project was and remains global. It can be called the World Football Championship among artists. We have held it nine times internationally. 16 countries came to us. The artists play football, forgetting about their tours and concerts. There was nothing like this in the world before us. We hold the festival every year on November 3 and 4 as part of the celebration of National Unity Day,” said Yuri Davydov.
On the second day, November 4, a traditional gala match will take place, during which the star team “Starko” will play with the “Heroes of Olympus” team, composed only of Soviet and Russian Olympic champions of different years in different sports. As part of “Starko” you will be able to watch Dmitry Malikov, Sergei Minaev, Viktor Zinchuk, Vlad Topalov, Mikhail Grebenshchikov, Romario and Yuri Davydov, as well as leading politicians, journalists and businessmen.
In addition, a surprise awaits guests of the event.
“There will be surprises. Yesterday a monument to Alexander Borisovich Gradsky was unveiled at the Vagankovskoye cemetery. On the 4th, Alexander Gradsky will also play for Starko,” said the organizer of “Art Football”.
