The City Council delivers 74,200 euros of subsidies to more than a dozen sports clubs in Ronda – Ronda City Council

The Ronda City Council has delivered the aid that it has been implementing in recent years to collaborate with the city’s sports clubs. To this end, agreements have been signed today with a total of 13 groups to which up to 74,200 euros will be given. This amount is part of the municipal plan for aid to groups (cultural, social and sports) which, on this occasion, exceeds 277,000 euros.

“From the Ronda City Council we want to recognize the important work that the clubs in our city do to maintain the activity, good health and well-being of hundreds of people of all ages, while giving them an impetus to maintain this work” , the mayor, María de la Paz Fernández, has indicated in this regard.

To do this, variable amounts will be distributed to the groups depending on the number of members, the discipline they develop, the categories in which they play and other variables. As on other occasions, those subsidized are obliged to allocate these amounts to expenses derived from the development of the season; that is, travel, federative expenses, arbitrations, insurance, etc.

The entities that have obtained aid for the current sports season in Ronda are: Arunda women’s sports club; KM1 Athletics Club; AGRA Rhythmic Gymnastics Club; Ronda badminton club; Ronda Sports Club; Ronda Sports Club Sports Union; Arunda Hawks basketball club; Bushido Sports Club; Ronda Athletics Club; La Encina Petanque Club; Harman Trail Running Club; San Luis Tennis Club and Pasos Largos Hiking Association.
