Frenchwoman Amélie Cordeau did not advance past the round of 16 of the individual archery event on Wednesday at the Paris 2024 Games.

She had dominated the Slovak Denisa Barankova in the 32nd final 7 to 3 (23-27, 28-28, 29-26, 29-26 and 29-26), a few minutes earlier. Opposed to the Briton Conor Hall, Jean-Charles Valladont lost 6-4, giving up the points of the first and fifth sets (29-27 and 30-27 respectively). “He shot very well.
