At the end of a new match fought until the last moments, our Parisians won in Monaco (87-80) led by a stratospheric TJ Shorts. This is the Club’s first away victory in the EuroLeague!
As a symbol, it is Yakuba Ouattara who scores the first two points of this game with a tap on an offensive rebound. TJ Shorts begins his recital with a lay-up on the counterattack and an and-one before Tyson Ward explodes from the circle and forces Monaco to take a first timeout. After 10 minutes, our Parisians are in the lead (25-22).
Thanks to a nice three-point skill, Tiago Splitter’s players keep the lead. Collin Malcolm is once again very important on both ends of the floor. Our good defense forces Monaco players to make mistakes. TJ is already at 19 points at the break and the gap is widening in our favor (49-43).
BRIEF. I don’t have the words for TJ Shorts anymore.

When we return from the locker room, the intensity increases a notch and our Paris Basketball players take longer to get back into the game. But Maodo Lô brings all his experience to bear and scores big baskets to keep us in touch. (63-64).
But as usual at the end of matches, TJ will take charge of everything. Our leader makes more and more clutch baskets while distributing caviar to all his teammates. Mikael Jantunen is everywhere at the end of the match and even allows us to get back in front before TJ, again, folds this match with his signature mid-distance shot to offer us a huge victory (87-80).
Our leader finishes once again having filled the stats sheet with 28 points, 10 assists and 38 ratings! The biggest performance of the start of the season!
